Nice. That's right where mine was leaking.
My blown hg was caused by a hole in the coolant hose that runs on the driver's side of the block. I was losing coolant and never really checked it and it got hot and warped the head. I had to get it machined before replacing the hg.

maybe a month ago before i replaced my water pump and hoses it got almost to the red a few times, im thinking thats what did it, but no oil in the water and vs versa. This motor is pretty rusty inside, im thinking about just replaceing the motor. i need to do a clutch as well.
