bleeding master brake cylinder

hey.. so i just replaced my brake master cylinder.. does anyone know if i need to bench bleed this or is there another way to do it?

also is there a way to do it solo or do i need help?

can i do it with it on the truck already? i put it on yesterday then realized i ˟˟˟˟ed up.. if im pushing in the brake doesnt it do the same thing by pressing the brake peddle? as pressing it with the screw driver?

Take it off....takes 5 minutes. The time you have been on here...could of had it done by now. (Im a grumbly old guy)

No shortcuts on our brakes. None.

k thnx .. and ya im being lazy.. gotta go to work tho and its raining outside.. anywho ty for the help.. thinkin ill finish this tomorrow

yes you can bleed it like that, it'll work fine... I personally don't like bench bleeding, one problem with it is that if you put the mc in a vise the wrong way, you'll screw it up... it's just a messy hassle.

I bled the last mc that I installed by myself using a 2x4 propped against the seat, to hold the brake pedal down.

put rags under everything, and have someone crack the brake line nut while you are pushing down on the brake pedal... just treat it like it's a slave cylinder bleed screw.
