Best budget fender flares?

On the way out of Koocanusa mud bogs I got a fix it slip at a roadblock and they told me I need fender flares because my tires stick out. Anyways, all I can find are bushwackers, and I cant afford 500 doller fender flares! Anyone know of anywhere to get cheaper ones? Or something DIY to pass inspection? Overall was an amazing weekend anyways

DIY is pretty much the only sub-$500 solution. look up landscape edge flares - looks like crap but keeps you from getting tickets

Probably the best DIY I can imagine being able to do

Unless you have good fiberglass skills or something

Those window visors that keep the rain out while youre smoking cigarettes? If you're only wanting to get the ticket over with. Sounds cheap I know, and it is! $10 at a junkyard. Then take em off and invite your friends over to fight with them

A super down and dirty cheap "flare" could be made from lining the inside of your wheel well with cut up old tires. Have them stick out as far as needed. Nice thing is you don't have to damage your body for it.

1. Put the stock tires back on.
2. Go show the cops, tear up the ticket.
3. Take some time to figure out your best option, then go with it.
4. Re-install big tires.

Don't one-cheek it 'cause you're in a hurry. First make the ticket go away. You have a time limit on those.
