Best 3VZE head gasket

So what is every ones preference for non MLS 3VZE head gaskets. I will be using ARP head bolts and was planing on using OEM Toyota gaskets but wanted to get every ones feed back. Factory head gaskets from Toyota are roughly $120-$150 for both sides.

From where? I have called Toyota dealers in two states and they have all been $68-$76

Is 11116-65030 the old gasket prone to failure and 11116-65033 the updated version.

Just googling the 5033 number found it on Amazon for $40.50 and free shipping.

Pretty sure that left and right gaskets are different numbers.

I checked toyotapartsdeal.com first to get the parts numbers and from what I can see, same part number for both left and right. I'll look again just to be sure. Yep I should have looked closer, thanks millball, 2 different part numbers.

#1 = 11115-65030 replaced by 11115-65033
#2 = 11116-65030 replaced by 11116-65033

I have been using toyotaonlineparts.com allot here lately and that is where I got the price I quoted.

Check toyotapartsdeal first, enter your vin, head gaskets are listed under engine, cylinder head. Once you have the part number/s plug them in at toyotaonlineparts and go from there.

40.50 is awesome if OEM and the free ship is icing on the cake.

Cheers
Andy

I do not have a pair of genuine Toyota 3vz-e headgaskets on hand, but I do have a pair of cheapo-Evergreen headgaskets here. (I would never use them, but a friend gave me an E-green overhaul set that he had laying around).

The left-hand and right-hand gaskets are definitely not the same.

They have different outside profiles, as well as different coolant passage holes.

Most 3vz-e gaskets offered for sale single stipulate for left, or for right.

Have a look at Ebay, for instance.
