I put these in my first gen in case you can't find a set of toyota seats in decent shape:
Found a set of 93-94 Integra seats that were a little dirty but overall excellant shape:

only 'fabbing' I did was bend a bracket in a vice with a BFH...

These things are great, there is a second hole about 1.25" over from the stock front outside mounting hole that lined up just about right, enlarged it just a hair and was able to use the inside front stock mount:

just had to cut off about the lower .25" or so of the stock bracket to allow it to sit flat on the floor.
I think that being able to use the stock front holes makes the install much more stable and install went very fast...
outside rear mount came up with something similar to WSUWeston's brackets:

The rear inside mount is flat, so ended up using the old stack of washers install method. Used grade 8 fender washers on the underside so that should help spread the load. After cutting out of floor section on a donor truck, I am pretty impressed at how well built these old trucks are...
They will have to come back out though when it fix the rust, needed to get them mounted though so I could still drive the old beast around
pretty straight forward...gives you an alternative idea..
Good luck

a really nice swap to do is to take the seats out of a late 90 or even better 2000s celica... they are comfy, and with minor fabbing, bolt in like new...

Here's some of mine. I used seats from a 98 Pathfinder that was in the wrecker. I had a bench and had to drill a couple holes.

The best way to find some seats you'll like is to take some measurements on your truck of the mounting and where the bolts are. I made a rough sketch of how it looked as well and took that info to the wrecker along with my tape measure.

Seats? Who needs seats?

New hotness.

I ripped out the carpet while I was in there and put bedliner on the floor.

I just did the celica seat swap a few weeks ago. Took most of the day using some metal brackets from Home Depot. They are better than the bench but I am 6 ft tall and in order to have any recline in the seats I have to slide them forward, reducing leg room.

But, better than the buckets.

I put a pair of Acura Integra buckets in my '82 2wd. Bought them for $250 from a dismantlers yard. Made a little steel bracket for the rear with some bolts from Ace Hardware, had to relocate rear holes so I just put a nut underneath 'em. On the center-most rear I had to shim with a few washers, and the front center-most hole on the seat needed to be moved to use stock bolts and holes, but overall a pretty easy install...

Those all look pretty sweet, good to know that other seats besides runners and pickups will fit so easily.

But what about arm rests? Are there any that will swap over nicely, or third party ones? Snotrocket's look pretty good, but I would prefer a straight up arm rest.

Auto Custom Carpets I think. autocustomcarpets.com or something like that. It was around $130 shipped, comes molded to the floorpan (barely). Just place the driver footpad in the right place and trim the edges to fit. You have to make all the holes for seats and stuff. Make sure to get a sharp new razor blade for this project. Also, the black seems to get dirty really fast, if I was to do it again I would probably get it in grey.

$250.00 ???? are you joking? THATS NUTS!

I paid 50 buckets cash for my two 4runner buckets from the wrecker.

I should also mentioned I tried to put Honda Civic seats in my rig but I found them to be way uncomfortable. The 4runners are comfy and bolt right in. cant beat it for 50 bucks

haha I was thinking the same thing. I paid $50 for my seats from the wrecker.

As for my console, I found it in the automotive section of Wal Mart. It's supposed to be some sort of storage container for a minivan. Look around in there. It was less than $25 if I remember. Fits perfectly between the seats and give me an armrest in the middle.

I need to do this. I'm so sick of not having a center console and easy access to behind the seats. Also I could move my driver seat back some and not worry about the passenger side hitting my sub box. The center bench seat is so useless anyway.
