Bad Diveline Vibrations

Well I just got my 87' 4Runnner back from the Devil himself and I believe my rear differential carrier has some blown bearings, yesterday I took her out down the street and at about 45-50 mph the the truck starts to vibrate, once I let off the gas or push in the clutch it gets worse. If I push on the gas, it kind of stops but I can still kinda feel it. So I pulled over and grabbed the drive-shaft to check for play and to my surprise the play was coming from my companion flange which is connected to my pinion shaft. So my question is this, how much torque can I put on the pinion nut (the nut that has to be hammered and punched in place, so I can take up the slack in the bearing or am I looking at new bearings and if so which ones. Thanks for the help

Well just dropped the drive shaft, and took of the companion flange and my pinion shaft is floating in the differential carrier (not good), I do have a donor truck that I'll be pulling the entire differential out and swapping the parts, I'll keep posting on the progess
