Backspacing
Alright, if your gonna run 33X12.50R15 tires on a 15X8 rim( on a lifted 94 4runner), would you wanna run a 3.75" or 4" backspacing. I know the 3.75" rubs a little and the 4" rubs a little bit more. But how much is more does it really rub and or is there another backspacing that you would recommend? Thanks

I am running 35x12.50's on stock 15x7's with 4 1/2-ish backspacing, so I find it hard to believe that the 15x8's with 3.75 or 4" BS would rub anything but the fender.
That being said, I'd prefer the 4" BS to help lessen the fender rubbing.
I run 1/4" wheel spacers up front with some fender/pinch-weld massaging and the only thing I rub ever so slightly is my idler arm - right front just kisses it at full lock.
Oh, and I have a 4" bracket lift - my lower control arms & CV's are flat.

Ha ya just a little, a 9.50 tire is narrow tire. But back to the OP so y'all agree there wouldn't be to much rubbing that a hammer wouldn't fix?
