Auto Tranny T Case questions...

Hi,

Just curious to know if 4 cylinder Auto Tranny tcases are gear or chain drive?

It has a clutch pack.

If your going to big dog swap you might think about NP 205 gear drive.

FYI, the 340H transfer case is a chain drive.

NOTE:

Hydraulic transfer case, transmission and transfer case cannot be separated.

OK, here's some pics of it being taking apart. Torque converter, bell housing, tranny, and no t-case.


and here is what's missing in the first pic, the t-case.


Yes, there's a chain at the back, but the clutch pic posted above drives it.
