Auto To Manual Swap Question
I got this 86 4runner and it was already swapped from an auto to a manual. I have been reading up on it, and I havnt found this item.
I see in my engine bay a bunch of electrical connectors that are not in my 89.
The one with the yellow wire was said to be the bypass for the nuetral safety so the truck would run, that is fine, but what is the rest of the connectors and that aluminum tube and vacuum diaphram? Can i remove these items?
Also by chance does anyone know where the other side of this canister goes to? The 89 it goes to the EGR area, but this truck it is opwn and i do not see any lines that are hanging around without a home.

The jumpered wire is for the neutral safty switch bypass, and the other pluggs went to the automatic transmission when it was in the truck. with the manual transmission there not used. the aluminum tube looking thing kind of looks like the idle air control valve, i can`t really tell by the angle of the picture.

I am guessing the other side of them will be plugs also? I will have to chase them down. There are a few little things like this that dont cost money so i can get the jeep cleaned up.
The valve thing is under the intake manifold.
