I saw this on ebay. It looks like this thing was tucked in at night. $6,900 is about $2,000 over high book according to NADA. I figure another 100,000 miles wouldn't be a crazy thought. What do you think, is it worth it?

Very nice shape, just need to drop a 5 speed in it and you'd have a perfect 1st gen.

No I'd be more comfortable with around $3000. That's what I've seen them go for around the SFC.

used toyotas in CA are more expensive in general. I would say the price is somewhat correct for a CA rig in that good of condition with only 86k on it -- for a 22re/5spd yes, but not with the auto/3slow combo
really depends on the buyer - some people will simply just pay that much

Beautiful rig, but the price is way too high for a 3.slow auto. Those two thing are deal breakers for most folks - if you're looking to resell and make your money back at some point. Also at 86k you're in scary HG territory. I bought an '87 last year with 30k original miles that was "tucked in at night" and my HG blew within the month. Every piece of rubber on the rig had to go even though it was garaged its entire life on the west coast. Some things to think about.
