They were on my 79 when I bought it, total garbage IMO, too long and thin with no bracing, shell out the money for REAL shackles that are greaseable

I used these

but I cut them down to stock length when I put on the OME springs and had to drill 18mm holes for the bolts I needed to use with the poly bushings, at stock length or the first bolt hole they should be fine - you can see the one side at the right

yup, longer coils would do the trick but I'll have to tell you to search to find specifics. Mine has leaf, so I don't know the coil tricks.

How much lift are you trying to get. I have researched it a lot. fj80 coils will lift the rear about 3 to 4 inches. I just got a pair from a guy on the classified section here on yotatech. for only $60. if your only trying to level out the rear sag you can get some coil spacers. I've heard Sedori has some good ones. check out this site I personally haven't ordered anything from here but I have seen good reviews on here.

Also check out the 2nd gen lift guide it will tell you alot
