Anybody Try GForce Chips?
http://www.gfchips.com/
Has anybody tried anything like this? I've read about these in the past but have never tried them or known anyone that has. They make some big claims which seems like a red flag to me. If they can make such a difference why isn't everybody doing it? I wrote the company to see if their product would work with an 86 22RE and their response was "yes". They also offer a satisfaction money back guarantee. At $70 it would pay itself off pretty quick with a 20% mileage increase, based on their claim.

It all comes down to there definition of the word substantial!!
Then I would love to see this money back guarantee fine print
Take one of these engines in poor tune compression so poor you can turn it over with one hand . I sure that could not give you a 10% increase in fuel let alone 20%
Let the buyer beware !!!
My question if you get a bad one install it in your vehicle it fries your ECU/ECM will this company pay for your repairs or worse it shorts catches fire burns your vehicle and garage
I bet there is a disclaimer stating not responsible for damage to vehicles with this product installed.
Like the OP stated if it was this good word of mouth would have been all over the world they would be unable to meet demand!!!

This product is not intended for use on a motor vehicle. Purchaser assumes all risks involved, no positive effect is either guaranteed or implied. Liability is limited.
Meaning if it burns your rig, garage AND house down, they'll happily refund your purchase price.
Less Shipping and Handling.

Kind of what I would expect. I had a friend years ago get some kind of chip for a diesel motor which helped to what degree I don't remember. But diesel is a different animal. Never heard any first hand experience from a regular gas guy. They state that its just an intelligent IAC control switch basically and that it just taps into that line. Wouldn't it need some data to know what the motor is needing to follow through? And where is it getting that from?
Hey Scope, unless you have a buyer for that bridge I'll take it. It would look great on this ocean front property I just bought in Montana. I was told it was a family secret.

Morbid curiosity drove me to read through the website some more. Under terms and conditions it does state a 14 day no questions asked full refund. I was expecting them to request a professional install for the money back offer to otherwise claim its lack of performance on poor installation but not so much. They have some dyno charts posted to show gains, 2008 Mercedes CL63, 2000 Passat 2.0T, and a 2002 Econoline 5.4L. The Merc and VW were similar in gains @10hp-20/30ft lbs, even though the motors were drastically different in output. The Ford however only changed a couple of digits on both HP and torque, nothing that would at all be noticeable. So right there it's pointing out that gains could be small enough to be confused with wind currents.
