Wondering if any of you guys could point me towards some cold start injection threads. Got a 3.0 that was just rebuilt, (runs fine and smooth) but if she sits for a couple days or it's kind of cold out it's hard to start. Cranks over just fine and then just kind of "catches" and will start up. My understanding is that fuel injected engines should fire right up with no hesitation, which leads me to the cold start injector circuit.

Even when warm she hesitates a bit before starting but not nearly as bad as when cold.

i have the same problem. if you leave get it going than ileave it over night than its hard to start. it will just turn over and almost get going but it wont.so ineed help to

I would point both of you in the direction of a fuel pressure leak.

if you want to test your cold start injector, just pull it off the intake, (leaving the fuel hose connected) jump your fuel pump test in the diagnostic box, and jump the connector on the cold start injector to the battery. it should squirt. don't let it squirt on the battery!f

for that matter, try jumping the fuel pump in the diagnostic box before starting it next time. its the Fp and B+ I think.
