alot of work to do!!

okay, i'm just getting started on fixing my 86 4runner and i need to relocate the spare,get new bumpers, and get new wheels and tires...any suggestions?

My spare is strapped to my roll bar inside - I'll eventually fab something up so it actually bolts there.

Make bumpers if you can. I made my rear and plan on either making a front one soon or making changes to the one I have for more clearance.

If your not changing the gears I wouldnt go above 32" tyres.

Look for a custom fabricated rear bumper with a swing-away spare tire carrier, shackle mounts, and maybe a gas can holder and jack holder. There was this fellow selling custom Toyota bumpers for our 4Runner's on ebay a couple of months ago, did the work to order and at a good price. Just checked, and couldn't find him. As for wheels, whatever makes your worm crawl. I have FJ Cruiser alloys on mine. Perfect fit.
