Air Intake
I had this idea and wanted to run it by everyone to see what they think about it. Oh and this only works for us with a 22r... so i was thinking in baja or any performance racing i have seen they have the air filter directly sucking in air either by a routed pipe or however they do it. i was wondering if it would be totally awesome to make a hood scoop but not raise the hood at all where the air filter is and switch to the circle all open designs so that the opening in the hood opens directly into the air filter. and then close it off around kindof and have a ramp for it in the back to direct leftover air back into the filter...
any thoughts?????
here is a really bad pic but to help explain it

No he was calling you a Newb bc you posted a Photobucket link instead of the pic. Lol
never seen it before. As long as you can keep water out of it, I say go for it and post pics along the way!

i can't think of anything to block so water doesn't enter such as rain... a very fine wire mesh would still let water through... i'm stumped on this one part mainly.

Its not like it'll get you more horses, seems like more bad could happen then good.
