Aftermarket Tach Install
Gotta love the DLX cluster.
I'm about to install a cheapo 3'' aftermarket tach, probably mount to the steering column.
Where did you guys wire yours in? Where would the easiest spot be to hook it up? Thanks.

took off cluster housing and drilled a hole in the right hand side of it. Mounted tach to side of cluster housing. It sits just above the vent above the console.

i mounted mine on the steering column...works great..its a 3in too..i wired mine into the fuse box like it says..ran the wire that makes it work (color is green...will vary among diff types of tachs but o well) through the firewall..hooked into the ground wire (i think..cant remember) at the ignition coil..on the driver side fender...works like a charm...i can get pics if you want them also
