Aftermarket Camshafts

Im rebuilding my 3.0 v6 cus it had a blown head gasket and the stock camshafts got pitted from the rust pretty bad. Since Im gonna replace them anyway I was thinking of going aftermarket. So if anybody out there knows any good brands for toyotas please post something.

This is where I got mine. Quite a few other guys on here run them as well. Looks like you might get a break on them as well...

x3 on sea2sky weasy2k cams. these cams paired with a header and the 3slow isn't so bad! I would say it's quite fun all the time except going up steep hills. it's only the low end torque I can't seem to cure.
Go for sea2sky

regardless of what you do to it, IMO it is still a 3.0 v-6 aka small. we have 4000+ pound rigs with 150 horsepower. it needs like 200 plus. anyway. regardless, it is a small motor, typically a small motor like this makes power higher in the power band. if i was a diesel, that would be different. these are just higher revving motors, that were they make there power. now if we stroked it and gave a bigger lever to turn that crank, yeah we could get some more low end torque out of it. That would be interesting.

sorry to steal the thread. I want to get a set of those cams too.
