Ya. It's kind of a lame post but since people post from time to time asking questions about mpg I thought I would post the results of my keeping track of the last 95 tanks of gas in my stock 1994 4x4 22re truck: 29" tires, stock gearing, driven 95% in town on short trips. I never warm the truck up. I just jump in and go. I also drive like I have no place to go and all day to get there. (With the 98 hp that it puts out at elevation it's not really like you have another choice.)

Average mpg: 21
Best mpg: 26
Worst mpg: 14 (on the highway with a viscous headwind)
Largest fill-up: 16.6 gallons (I have no idea how. I think the dispenser must have been off or I was running on love alone.)
Longest Distance on a Tank: 360 miles

I tried filling up with regular or premium, at brand name or no-name stations and there is no measurable difference in mpg. I even tried a few tanks of "Hyper-miling" where I would turn the truck off and coast as much as possible, try to brake as little as possible, turn the engine off at lights, etc. And it was a lot of work to get 2 miles more to the gallon. Maybe I just suck at it but I won't be doing that again.

Anyway... just thought someone might like to know the results.

your worst miles per hour was 14......wow that's slow dude.LMAO..i know ya meant 14 mpg's..just thought i'd point it out..lol

best i've gotten is 22mpgs in my '86 goin about 70mph with some 235/75's! lol

with my 31" swampers it went to about 17...but with these x-terrains it's at right about 19-20 out on the highway.

works for me..i can go more places than the big 4wd chevies that get 10mpgs HAHAHAHAHA

I also get about 20-21 mpg stock except 31" AT's. Mostly highway miles around 60 mph. Not bad for a 4runner, 22re M/T, with 285k miles. I also get to 60 as fast as it can go. Towing my boat is a different story. Tows it pretty good but sluggish accel. and bad mpg.
