adjusted tps, now odd stutter in rpms
i just adjusted my tps and everything fell into spec. i started it up and shorted the terminals and the rpms dropped as they should. i drove it around and at one stop light the rpms would intermittently drop like it wanted to die. however, once it warmed up, it stopped happening. i havent driven it since, so im not sure if it was just something working itself out, but im wondering if it could be one of a few things:
- i misadjusted the tps too far back
- i have a vacuum leak from the hoses i disconnected
- i cleaned the thottle body pretty good and i wonder if some of the crap that came off happened to fall into the intake.
- my idle is set too low (before i adjusted the tps, i could nudge the throttle back into idle, and it was only at like 750rpms)
- or i have a vacuum leak because i dropped and (and lost) the nut that goes on the male bolt that attaches the throttle body to the intake.
- sub question, what size is that nut (12mm x ?)
any other ideas? it runs much better than it used to, so im pleased about that, but im concerned about that random drop in rpms.

perhaps, however, it has never done it before. it feels more like the vacuum leak type intermittent idle drop/surge that i had before i replaced my pcv valve.
