Adding oil cooler to '88 V6
Hey all -
In my quest to find a good aftermarket Japanese made water pump, it occurred to me that I could probably use the Aisin pump (still being made) for the '89 3VZE engine and either remove the metal hose bib and seal up the hole, or I could actually "add" the oil cooler to my '88 engine. Anyone ever do this?
Would it be as simple as getting the oil cooler and the lines and seals and bolting it on? It couldn't hurt to add cooling to the system.
Thanks!
