About my 87' Pickup

It does not have a/c but does this mean no heat either? Thanks for letting me know and hopefully someone buys my blazer soon.

completely separate systems, my 87 pickup never came with A/C but it does have heat.

Now are you saying your A/C doesn't work and that is affecting your heater?

Yup no heat.

Why would having no A/C mean no heat. A/C = Air Conditioning. Its used to make COLD air. I dont think a vehicle has been made without heat since the '50s.

no heat = 1 of 3 problems:

t-stat not opening, so hot water isn't circulating in the engine
heater valve is broken, either clogged, or not operating with the cable from the dashboard slider.
mix flaps are not opening. there is a cable that controls the door to allow air to cross the heater core. when this cable comes off, you can sometimes hear it thump closed when you do a quick stop. it sounds like a kitchen cabinet door closing. you can see the end of this cable in the passenger foot well.

bear in mind "no heat" is not the same as "no blower fan". if your fan isn't blowing when you turn the fan switch, that's a different set of troubleshooting steps.

This is what I was getting at when I had said his A/C dont work and he has no heat, but he has been very vague in what he was asking, not sure if there is really a problem here.
