A340H transmission severe leak after reinstall

Need so advice. I have a 1991 3.0 with auto trans 4x4. I am not sure if it was leaking prior to me getting it, due to the rod knock it was towed on flat bed, but it did drive. Replaced engine(had rod knock) with a 3.0 from a 1993 manual trans. When swapping I had 2 issues that may be factors.
1. Torque Converter was bound between bell housing and engine while hoisting. Didn't notice any damage...

I did replace the flywheel from the manual to automatic, felt much lighter than the manual. I also replaced rear main seal and oil pans gasket/rtv on the engine. As well as the intake swapped for the auto. The engine is now running very well.

2. When I want to replace the TQ bolts I was unable to turn the crank by hand. So out it came several times. Finally get it back together and test drove it and noticed a leak. I pulled the god awful transmission with a regular set of jacks (not recommended) and replaced the TQ seal which looked chewed up on one side. Put it back in and am now dreading having to pull again, because of a leak. After it runs for a minute or two it has a steady stream, not a drip out of the bell housing hole. It still drives forward in reverse in the garage. What did I break? Oil pump, torque converter????

If it is leaking from the bell housing, it is either a broken (like cracked) torque converter or the seal. If it is a stream, i find it hard to be from the seal... and I've never seen a cracked torque converter... but if you pull it, it should be obvious.

Update

Finally pulled transmission again. The seal came out in pieces. Found springs,Rubber, and metal discs. What is shredding the trans pump oil seal?
