96 Bucks for a fuel line

The fuel line that runs from my fuel rail is going to cost 96 bucks from my Toyota dealer. Is there no way to get this part cheaper? I really cant drive around with it leaking and im too broke to buy it now. Does anyone know of a cheaper site or way?

You are sure it is that line and not the lines coming off the fuel pump bracket .

Toyota is the only place if the ends are good and you can double flare get a piece of tubing of the correct size and make your own line.

I think that is what I paid for one just in case I need to replace it when installing a new gas tank.

If it is at a place you can cut the bad part out and slip a piece of fuel injection hose the $7.00 at foot stuff with two fuel injection clamps that might grt you going for a while.

Bunch of guys parting out that year truck and runners in the classified section. They both will work.

You sure its not the seal rather than the line? Fuel lines don't usually do not just start leaking unless they are rusted.

Got any pics?

Heh, two fuel line threads on the first page...

I paid $30 from my local dealership for a brand new OEM fuel hardline that runs along the frame from the tank to the fuel filter on my '94 4x4. I do get a pretty hefty discount, though- those guys are great.

The fuel line that runs from the fuel rail to the cold start injector isnt metal. Its some type of hard plastic maybe. Its old and brittle. Thats how it got busted when I was replacing my valve cover gaskets. I then replaced it with some good year fuel line and two clamps on the end. now there is defiantly a leak coming from under there. Im thinking the only thing it could be is the fuel line i rigged up. Its a very high presure system and if ther are any weaknesses it will exploit them.

Ok I got the thing from a different dealer. It was only 56.00. It will be in tomorrow. I wonder if the other place was jacking up the price or had looked up the wrong part. I know this is the right one. He printed out a schematic for me. So I guess it will be a cold morning tomorrow replacing this thing. But Im just glad to be getting it done.
