95' v6 engine swap advice

I have a '95 4runner that I am about to put a new engine in. This is the first time that I have pulled and installed a motor in a 4runner, and am wondering if anyone has any advice, or tips for me. I would really hate to have this go wrong for me.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you,

Brad

Tips: get a service manual and make sure you have the tools you need. When you pull a bolt or nut to take a part off, put it back where it goes so you don't lose the fasteners, and you know which one goes where. Make a map, if necessary of all hoses and wires.

Advice: Take your time and think about how you're gonna do something before you do it. Have someone else there to help, or at least provide moral support.

Take tons of detailed pictures of the engine, hoses and vsv's before you take it apart. Keep everything in marked bags so you don't lose anything.

Get yourself a good FSM, and keep a computer handy

Are you putting another 3.0 or a 3.4 in its place.
