95 4Runner no lockup

Ok so this has been getting on my nerves as it makes long trips horrible...but I had lockup when I first bout the 4Runner...it shortly went out after buying it and to no avail have I been able to get it back..I've replaced all parts with known working parts from my donor. I have replaced the torque converter and all the transmission solnoids. Not sure what else it could be but sort want to figure it out...it's a v6 a/t obviously so any pointers in the right direction would be great...and I do have the donor so parts to swap are easily available.

I am not understanding what you are meaning by "lockup" . Transmission just wont move out of gear?

Lockup happens above 50mph and it's almost like its downshifting into another get but it is holding the rpms at a certain point so when you take your foot off the gas pedal you don't drop your rpms way off and is disengaged by pressing on the brake pedal....that's the best I can describe it

I understand better. I have read that there are solenoids and since you have swapped them and the torque converter not sure what it could be.

This video has some info on getting tranny codes that might help. The first video, I copied it from another thread.
future reference.

Yea no codes which is understandable since there are no lockup specific codes....everything also works great drives and shifts smoothly and runs like a top for a95 with 200k and original motor
