Hello family! First time here and I have a problem that I cant find a fix for and its driving me crazy!!!
I live in Georgia and I have a 1995 toyota 4runner limited 3.0 5spd 4x4. I have a surging idle problem... mater of fact my idle is all types of screwed up. In the summer time the idle is some times extremely low (300 if that) and some times its at 1k. In the winter the idle will not go below 1500rpms even with the idle screw on the tb turned all the way in!! Also in the cold months the idle will surge when the motor gets warm. It will drop from 1500 to just above 1000 and dose this repeatedly up down up down etc. I have taken the tb off and blowed out the coolant ports in it and the coolant hose on the radiator side of the tb (couldnt get to the hose clamp on the firewall side) is it possible that not all of the trash is out of it, egr probs, tps??? I put a new afm on it last year.. any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
