95 4Runner 3.0 No Start
Hi everyone, first timer here!
Last week I replaced my 95 3.0 fuel injectors with the 4 hole upgrades discussed by several folks here. I cleaned everything up with carb cleaner, and put everything back together. The truck started up after a few trys, ran rough for a minute or so until all of my cleaner blew out. I took the truck out for a ride, and it ran great from the get go. More throttle response, crisp, and really smooth idle. I was quite excited. I parked the truck and shut it off for the day.
Next day I tried to start the truck and it wont start. It starts for a split second but shuts off. What gives? The truck ran great the day before. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance for any help/ideas!

Sounds exactly like what happens when theVAFM is unplugged or otherwise being bypassed. Easy things first, check all air ducting and vac lines for leaks and vafm plug. If all thay checks out I would test fuel delivery to see if its injector related.

try pulling codes and see if anything pops up. take a look at all your connectors and the intake piping and make sure all is connected. from there, start with the basics. make sure you have spark. if so, as stated spray some starting fluid in the throttle body and see if it fires up.

Hi everybody, thanks for all of the replies!
Its been a while, had to travel, but back to working on the 4Runner.
Some additional info:
1. Truck has spark
2. Finally able to get codes out (24 and 31)
3. No injector pulse when cranking
4. Both injector leads are hot with key on
Also, I measured the resistance of the new injectors. They are at 12ohms instead of 14 or so with the stock ones. Will this ever be an issue?
Remember, the truck was running for a test drive after my install. Any other troubleshooting tips/ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

Code 24 is "open or short in intake air temp sensor", and code 31 is "open or short in VAFM sensor". Gevo has it right, something is unhooked in your VAFM connector wiring. That's most likely your problem. Check the VAFM wiring carefully.
