Dont worry bout them. Just pull the whole damn front sway bar off. It's pointless, especially if you go wheelin alot. The only thing is you'll notice a little more body roll afterwards.

Hell no! If you actually use your 4x4 there's no need for a sway bar. The only reason you'd have to worry about the handling is if you drive like a woman. Pay attention while you're driving so you don't have to swerve and or over correct and you'll never have to worry about it. It allows your front suspention to actually move independantly.

I yanked my front and rear over a year ago and didn't look back. All they do is let the unexperienced driver drive an SUV like a sports car... or something like that. If you really like the way they make your truck handle, get quick-disconnects and some new Energy Suspension bushings so you can still get the full articulation offroad, and faster cornering on-road.

I am not a pro but I know of 2 people locally who pulled a sway out and rolled there vehicles. What if a deer runs out in front of you in the middle of the night? You swerve to miss him and ooopppss your upside down in a ditch.
Just my opinion...
Added....Quick disconnects are the way to go..Safe on the hardtop and major flex on the trails.

Check out WabFab (http://www.wabfab.org). I know there are a few companies that make them but that's the one I remember off the top of my head.

I've not noticed any issues having the bar off, and I've even swerved a few times to avoid animals darting across roads and a few idiot bike riders.
