Have you pulled the codes yet? What are you getting?
Also... When you did your tune-up, did you pull the EFI fuse to reset the computer?
Sometimes its as easy as your sparkplugs being gapped wrong... jejeje

Here: . . . .
They're called periods. (commas are good too) If you use them in your posting, people might be able to understand what you are trying to say.
Compare:

Code 41 is "Open or short detected in throttle position sensor signal." Strictly speaking it has nothing to do with "adjustment." You could have a dead spot on the internal rheostat, a loose connector, a bad wire, ...

Ok i think im gonna try replacing it, but what doesnt makes sense to me is that it pops on every once in a while and the truck runs worse with the less gas it has in the tank, with a full tank itll run fine for a while till i get to a quarter tank then i have to start shutting it off and starting it back up

A new TPS is about $90 + shipping. A multimeter to test the one you have is $5.99 + shipping. If your TPS really is bad, just swapping it (without testing the old one) will save you $6 (except you won't have a multimeter, which you'll need soon enough). But if it's a loose connector, bad wire, etc you'll be out $90 and no closer to a solution. Your choice.
A missing TPS signal can cause erratic operation. Your ECU is telling you that is "a" problem for sure. If it were me, I'd eliminate the known problems before I started swapping other parts on a guess.
I doubt the tank level has anything to do with your TPS issue. I'm not sure what "same exact problem" is, but if you have dirt in the fuel tank sometimes it is more likely to clog the "sock" filter when the tank is low (and the dirt concentrated). Did you notice any dirt when you changed the pump?

Code numbers that came up was 25 and 27. Cat,Mass Air flow sensor,O2 sensor, new muffler, there are no clamps on exhust it all welded and there is no cracks in manifold which was originally suspected. Had full tune up and fuel filter replacement last Aug . Truck runs fine at first after warm up it loses power if you shut it off and restart it runs fine, it may or may not lose power again. When its runs bad you get a POP like it out of time but timing was set by a mechanic .

I'd start with resetting the codes; pull the EFI fuse for, oh, 30 seconds. Try again. (You can disconnect the battery, but you'll lose all the stations presets on the radio.)
Code 27 is "(1) Open or short in heater circuit of sub heated oxygen sensor for 0.5 sec. or more.
(2) When sub heated oxygen sensor is warmed up and full acceleration continued for
2 seconds, output of main heated oxygen sensor is 0.45 V or more (rich) and output of sub heated oxygen sensor is 0.45 V or less (lean). (OX2)"
The usual cause of 27 is a bad Catalytic Converter; since yours is new I would want to assure it is not stored from sometime. If you get it again, I'd run the usual test on the sub(downstream)-O2 sensor to check for a bad heater. If that's good, I'd put a good multimeter on the OX2 terminal in the diagnostic connector to monitor the results myself, to see if they match with the code.

Thanks for everyones input. I had code #s 22 25 27 the last possible problem on every code # was ECM. My buddy suggested to change the ECM. Since I work in a bone yard I can usually get parts either for nothing or at a discount. This truck has had this ongoing problem for about 2yrs and I have try basically everything never thought that the ECM would malfunction. I replaced the ECM unit with a used one from a 4Runner 3.0 v6 4x4 installed it and it runs pisser. Now for the water pump repair grrrrrrrrrr But besides that I am a happy Toyota owner now.
