94 sr5 4x4 3.0 troubles

I have a 94 sr5 4x4 ext cab pickup 3.0 . This is 2nd motor, previous motor ran pisser no probs even though engine light was on. I had the 2nd motor installed, engine light still on, But truck didn't run right It would lose power, sputter and it would (pop) sometimes when accelerating. If you shut vehicle off and restart it would run pisser no problems for a short or long period of time then back to same Problem. I pulled code#s22,25&27 I replaced o2 sensor, converter, map sensor. There are no exhust leaks or cracks. Engine light remained on no change in performance . I pulled code#s25,27. it was suggested to swap out ECM, BINGO the truck ran pisser no engine light good performance for a 3.0 with 130,000. About 4mnths later truck started running funny, then check light went back on, and back to same problems as before but a little worse and lousy Idle. I again pulled code#s 14&25. It was suggested it to me it could be the igniter, I replaced igniter check light gone ran better and better idle. Shortly after the light again lit up same trouble as before but not as bad.now I pulled code#27. this motor came from a 94 4runner IF you look up code# meanings If it is from a 4runner 27 means heated o2 sensor rear circuit, If you look under for a pickup 27 means wiring ho25 ECM, do I switch out ECM again? This truck has fed/Canadian emissions and both ECMs are for Fed/Canadian models and the truck is only equipped with one o2 sensor before the converter. I also noticed a hissing sound coming from left side engine lots of vac hoses could a vac leak be causing or not helping the problems? Any advice would be greatly welcomed.

I would get the vacuum leaks fixed. Chances are the computer is not calculating the correct amount of air as to what is actually going into the motor which isn't helping matters.

On a 22re motor, vacuum leaks will cause a check engine light to come on and off intermittently and not throw a code. Not sure if that is the case on a 3.0.

As far as I know the ECM is the same on the trucks and 4Runners on the 89-94 models. It is the same on the previous generation.

Found out where the air was pissing out of. If you look on a diagram for a 3.0 v6 there are 3 of theses all they say is vsv1 vsv2 vsv for egr. The vs1 was pissing out air not the hose but the vsv itself out the side. Just for the hell of it I put duct tape over it from pissing out air no more hissing put no change in performance. no engine light It will run fine then it feels like it starving for gas. Shut truck off restart runs great then back to the same b/s and hard starting in am I had changed fuel pump in July with a bosh Could fuel pump be defective? When I 1st installed it. It was fine then it gave me some trouble hard starting like( it was loading up) Then it gave me no problems until now Oyah when I changed fuel pump I put a new strainer also
