94 pick up....

well is giving a lot of problems....

we went wheeling...truck got stuck...in deep deep mud...then it wouldnt start....so we pushed all the way out...then pull it and started by kicking the clutch...it started..drove it home....

got home..washed the engine, changed the oil...started and run perfect....next day....turn it on...and is misfiring like crazy,it takes a lot of time to start......so we changed the rotor and cap on the distribuitor...and still...

what can it be?

it has a snorkel...so we know there isnt water in there...

did you actually check the air box? a snorkel does not mean your intake is invulnerable and, that is not the only place moisture can penetrate. dipsticks (oil& trans), fuse boxes, ecu and interior fuse panel to name a few.

check all those as well as your grounds and clean every connector you can find. water, like dust and dirt, will get places you dont want it.

Did you get the moisture out of the dist cap? WD40, Fluid Film or Chuck Norris tears would work.
