94 4runner v6 rear fuel leak

I have a94 4runner leaking from one of the rear fuel lines. I got the line from the dealer and it is sitting, waiting for me to break down and get to it.

Wondering if there is an "easy way" to do this, or if, as it looks like, I have to drop the fuel tank to get at everything.

any words of wisdom. Other than "let someone else do it"?

I just ran new lines around the fuel tank. My trucks too rusty to deal with dropping the tank.

Did you splice into existing lines? (compression fittings?) How did you get to the fittings on top of the tank? 4runner or truck?

fuel tank removal

Just pulled the tank off my '91. I should've paid to have it done. It does NOT just fall right down if you take out the 12 bolts and undo the junk on top of the tank. The filler hoses (yeah two!) were a total pain. I'm guessing you mean the supply line from the filter to the flexible line on top of the tank. The lines on my fuel pump assembly are just as rusty as the frame mounted lines. I'm not sure what I'm gonna do.

fuel tank

the filler hoses are the hardest part .. disconnect the fuel line and wire connectors from inside the cab ,under the rear passenger seat theres a cover plate .. .. loosen the clamps for the filler hose ( by removing another cover plate right above the rear tire .the filler hose has a bracket and its held by 2 12mm bolts , i think .. remove the bolts for the skid , then the bolts for the tank both ends once you get those the tank can be massaged out .
good luck .
