93 pickup 3.0 v6 overheats at idle?

I have a 1993 toyota pick up with a 3.0 v6. I bought the truck and the engine slung a rod. I got a junk yard engine and had it rebuilt. Since I put the rebuilt engine in it keeps overheating at idle. I have made sure that i have no air pockets, replaced the thermostat and replaced the fan clutch. Any ideas on what i should check next.

I put a new fan shroud on the water pump and radiator look good. I just pulled the thermostat out and drilled 2 holes in it. I let it run for 20 min and it did not overheat. I am going to go drive it when the kids get up from there nao I will let you know if it worked.

Looks like that fixed it. I took it on a short test drive and have let it sit at idle for another 20 min. The temp has not moved.
