93 p/u high pitch squeal/whine
Hey all, just wanted to see if anyone else had any of the same problems i am having. So my truck just started making a high pitch whine/squeal. Sometimes i can smell rubber. i spryed the belt with belt dressing but with no luck. it goes away sometimes if i rev i up. it seems to be running fine as always. she has 140k on her. its also seems that if i have the heat on if i turn it all the way up it wll get louder then if i turn off the heat i goes away. i dunno im stumped, lol. nothing seems to be leaking. any insight would be appreciated. thanks a bunch.

power steering idler pulley, alternator bearings, water pump bearings, maybe the a/c compressor if you have a/c.
Check those. Open your hood with the motor on and stick your head in there to see if you can pinpoint it. Just don't cut your hair on the fan blades.
