93 4Runner/ General Advise

I just bought A 93 Runner 3.0 v6 with a blown HG, but only paid 200 for it. I have done three HG before on the 22re x2 and once on the 22r, pretty much the same minus EFI. I have the general idea, but, was wondering if anyone has some good tips/tricks, things to watch out for and where to really start. I'm assuming with the radiator, fan, fan shroud air cleaner/air intake to make some room. Thanks

You should start by buying a 3.4L.

No, seriously. The increase in fuel economy and the increased security will pay for itself.
