92 pickup what 02 sensor

hey guys im on parts geek which o2 sensor do i need whats the diff etween the california one and excluding calif do either work? or anyone know the part # i need for a 92 4x4 22re

I would think if your truck was never originally from Cali then you don't need the cali version. We have strict emission laws that make us "special"

I used this site when I replaced mine. You have upstream and downstream. I think the upstream is more important. The OE mfg. ones come with the plug...I THINK the universal ones you have to splice and re-use your existing plug....I thought I remember reading something like that on here before.

Can't go wrong with Denso O2 sensors...unless you get a bad one I guess.

But it wherever it is cheapest. I snagged one off eBay for $30.00 about a month ago.

The upstream is the only one to worry about. Cali trucks have two, but the downstream is not at all important.
