92 4runner 4.3 swap

Hey guys, I have a 4runner that I bought not running, I couldn't figure out what was going on with the electrical so here I am.
I got a truck for pretty well free, it's a 94 chev with a tbi 4.3 and 5 speed tranny.
So I'm here asking some questions, both the trucks aren't going to be touched until to snow melts but I'm trying to get my head around what's involved.
I'm wondering what the minimum wires are to run the 4.3, most likely ill be taking the entire harness from the chevy. But I would like to cut out any unneeded crap.

I would suggest looking here:
https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f163/

Probably everything you're wondering about has already been discussed in that board.

Would my tranny (behind a 22re) not sure what one, hold up to the extra power from the 4.3? Or should I look into keeping the tranny from the chev and adapting that to the toy tcase? The chevy tranny I have needs a little work.
