91 v6 distributor cap and rotor heat damage
My 91 with a v6 started and ran poorly this morning unable to go over 35 mph. I managed to limp it 6 mile into work. After work it wouldn't quite start. I removed the distributor cap and there was heat damage on the rotor and the cap. part of the cap that springs in and out and contacts the center of the rotor was melted and no longer springs in and out. I replaced the cap and rotor and it still won't start. Any ideas?
