91 Pickup Bed Replacement

91 Pickup Bed Replacement
I let my brother drive my truck (91 Pickup 22RE base), and he destroyed the bed. Does anyone have any knowledge of where to find a new bed? I've been looking for years, and cannot find anything. I talked to someone at LCE, and they recommended someone who custom builds beds in Canada; but he couldn't supply me with any more information. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

First, don't let anyone else drive your truck!
How bad is the bed near the tailgate area? The bed still looks fixable but would take a lot of work to make it look nice again.
The best place to find factory steel beds is in salvage yards and through Craigslist. Or you could even try here on Yotatech and see if someone close to you has an extra bed they are willing to sell.
Or you can go for the fiberglass beds from http://www.toyotafiberglass.com/toyotafiberglass.htm who are based in Canada. A member here makes these at Toyota Fiberglass and his username is Slacker.
This is probably who LCE was recommending.

I recently just bought one from California for my 92 and I got it shipped to Sudbury Ontario.
What I did is I found a scrap yard out in California and asked them if they would be willing to ship it or work with me to ship it. They said they usually don't ship item but I got a shipping company (manitoulin Transport) to ship it in their nearest terminal which was Sudbury. I paid for the box and gave all the shipping information to the shipping company and I had my hands on a 94 bed with no rust in just over a week. The part that I was a little worried on was the boarder crossing and brokerage fee's but the shipping company give me someones number and everything went smooth! In total I got the bed, tailgate, tonneau cover and a box liner shipped here at around 1800$ canadian, which is really not bad. He gave me a deal on the bed because the front panel had a hole in it but I was able to swap it with my old one.
Here is their website is you wanted to take a look at what they had.

Btw I did look at fiberglass and it was not worth it. The price was 2500$ with a 2year wait.
Anyways best of luck, cheers!
