Hi I just replaced the transfer pan gasket due to leak and refilled tranny fluid dexIII started truck and shifted through the gears checked fluid level and added a little more then went to test drive put in reverse gear and it wants to go forward shifted through all gears still forward even nuetral reverse and park still wants to go forward I'm dumbfounded any ideas?
91 4runner 3.0 v6 a340h trans 4wd

Figured it out shift lever inside came lose from shift shaft to much play in lever and shaft...
