91 4runner Cold Start problem
I have a 91 4runner with a 3.4 from a 96 T-100 swapped in by the PO. Problem is that when it is cold outside it won't crank when the key is turned. This only happens the first time of the day when it is started. The battery is fine, the clutch switch was disabled when I got it, and the starter is fine. The funny thing is that if I turn the steering wheel from side to side when trying to start it it will start and run fine. Like I say, once it starts, I can shut it off and re-start all day long?
Is there something in the steering column that I need to check?
Thanks
