90 sr5 3.0 wont run, fuel pump issues.

Hey, i have a 1990 SR5 4x4 3,0 v6. i was driving offroad and all of a sudden my truck quit. i coasted down the hill and stopped and tried to start it again. it started up, barely.. then 20 secs later it quit again after i went past 3k rpm. then after that i would try and start it the first time and it would run for about 1/2-1 sec then it would die. then if i kept on trying it wouldn't start at all.

I got it towed home, iv been messing with it for about 3 days now. the fuel pump will only crank on when i jump the FP on the diagnostics to the Positive on the battery, iv tried the FP to B+ on the diagnostics and it wont do anything. so when i jump fp to the battery it starts up and runs at like 2k rpm.

when i try and start it with nothing jumped it sounds like something in the mass air flow thing is clunking like the flap inside the metal part is getting closed or something. im thinking now that it might have to do with something in that MAF or whatever that thing is called and iv read that it can shut off the fuel pump if something is wrong in there.

I cant get any codes come up now for some reason but yesterday i got 24 Intake Air Temperature Sensor signal. ,31Air Flow Meter signal (Vacuum Sensor signal). ,43Starter signal. but this was when i was messing with the airbox and i could of had something unplugged or something when the codes poped up. 43 is always there.

if someone could just lead me on the right path the see what i need to fix that would be great,

Thanks,

It ran all day, then quit again. i replaced the COR relay fuel pump relay and the metal one under the hood, not sure what its called. then it ran fine. when it died i just had gotten out of some puddles and im thinking that maybe it could be a short somewhere that is blowing something? if someone could help me out that would be great.

thanks,
