90 Pickup as Parts Truck for 87 4Runner Question

Howdy, this is my first post and i've done a bit of searching on the topic. I just bought a 1990 Toyota single cab pickup mainly for the rebuilt 22re it has in it. My plan is to put the truck's motor into my 87 4runner and then hopefully use the truck as a parts truck for the 4runner. From what I gather most of the parts should be compatible. I'm wondering if anyone has any insight as to how much is the same vehicle to vehicle; is everything identical or not? For example the truck has a Rancho lift on it and it'd be nice to know if that is swappable... stuff like that.

Thanks!

Since you plan on the Swap get the EWD`s for both years .

As for what parts swap all the front suspension should be the same with some minor differences.

Wheel bases the same??

I am not sure what year the dashes changed.

Then it all comes down to just how many miles are on that truck. Do you really want to pull and install worn out parts.

I find parts vehicles are great for cores and little odds and ends. Then I have way to many and no time to part them out.

I just had a chance to go park them side by side and the wheel bases are the same (that means same drivetrain?). The EWD's are a good idea, I kinda think the wiring will be the trickiest part. As for the mileage, the truck has 166,000 and the 4runner has 220,000. However the truck has a bunch of newish parts from the previous owner but I think I am mostly wanting just odds and ends. Thanks.
