90 o2 sensor plug location

ok so i spend at least an hour looking in the forums for pics or a solution but i am unsuccessful. so im going to have to ask... my 4runner is a 90 with the v6. the gas mileage blows and the engine is coding on the o2 sensor. so i take my happy self over to the autoparts and buy a new one. then i get home crwal under the truck and low and behold the o2 is disconnected. yay but where does it plug into? the 4runner was an auto origionally so it has all the other tranny plugs and harness stuff uner the truck but i cant find any plugs that match the o2 sensor? so does my truck have the wrong sensor explaing why i cant find where it plugs into? or is the harness hacked up and gone? can anyone provide a pic to where the o2 plugs into or where the harness goes to?

huh... well damn... that's where that snaps to, lol

I've always had mine zip-tied up in a bundle and held to the rest of the wiring harness on the side of the transmission, lol

I ran into this problem also when my 90 runner was purchased. PO's do suck sometimes! The wiring for the o2 sensor originates from the main engine harnes close to the battery. Mine was cut about halfway up. Had to go over to a friends house and trace his out to find my hacked up pig tail. After some serching, found a junker with a complete harness. Cut off what I needed and spliced it in. Works great! Hope this helps, U may have to look at someones! Or, give me a bit and I will get a pick of the o2 wiring coming out of the harness!

i found it!! it was bunched up with all the auto tranny harnesses. now that its a 5 speed they bunched them up and tucked them up. at first it didnt seem long enough and the plugs wouldent go in cause the o2 sensor plug had a holder molded into the plastic to hold it on a hole in the frame that was intruding with the other plug. so i trimmed it and plugged it in. i cleared the code by unplugging the 15a fuse for a minute but the code still comes up. must be the oz sensor.
