90 3.0 motor direct swap into 93?

Blew my headgasket back in February. A guy is offering me a 90 3.0 fully rebuilt etc. Question is there anything on the 90 3.0 like connection types or wires changed on the 3.0 that would differ from 93 3.0

Most likely the computers will be different.

Any swap you run into wiring differences

Without sitting down doing this swap with both year EWD`s in your hands

If you install your engine harness with your ECU/ECM you should be good to go.

Meaning your putting just the( new to you) long block in your truck all the electrical and electronics is from your truck.

that should make things easier so your not repining connectors

Just to clarify, I think that also means using your existing injectors, not the ones from the replacement engine.

The only thing being used with the (new to you) engine is mechanical.

Every thing else comes from your truck

If your replacing parts buy them for your truck.
