I have a 1990 pickup, 22re, automatic, 4x4 that has some issues, I bought a ECU off ebay (89661-35150) and it doesnt plug up to my truck. The ECU that my truck plugs up to is a part number 89661-35330. The ecu i bought from ebay said it fits 1990 toyota pickups and i did some research saying this is the right part number. Does anybody know about plug changes in these trucks or any other reason why my ecu plug is different? Thank you.

At one time someone changed engines in your truck from a different year. Installed the Ecu with the engine

You could if you know the year get both Electrical wiring diagrams and re pin the plugs to fit what you just bought.

While not hard it is time consuming .

Get the ECU that is in your truck
