89 yota speaker replacement
I was wondering if there is any step by step instructions you all know of on the net for replacing the 2 front speakers in a 89-95 Xtra cab PU? They sound toasted.
Thanks in advance!

It's fairly simple to do. You have to take off part of dash but it's not that hard. You could do it with a phillips and flat screwdriver. This you can find specific directions for in terms of exact screw locations and order of removal if you search or look at the FSM. I just went at it one day and it was simple, didn't take longer than maybe 10min to get apart. Just be careful with the plastic clips. Direct swap of speakers will be as simple as plugging it in and screwing in your new speaker. You're pretty limited to 4" speakers, so get some good ones if those are your only speakers. I have Boston Acoustics in the fronts, they're not bad for such a small speaker. Good luck
