89 4runner oil leak !!

I have an 89 4runner with a 22r 5 spd. and I recently did a timing chain and head gasket. I figured since I was in there, I would replace everything, so I did oil pump, t-chain cover, chain, head gasket, cam, rockers, water pump, and a few other things. During this job, I did not remove the pan. Since the job, my truck has been leaking oil. When I look under the truck, almost everything is coated in a film of oil. It looks like it is coming from the entire passenger side of the oil pan, but im not sure. It only started leaking right after the job, and i feel that it probably was caused by the t-chain job. It is not coming from the oil filter or the oil pressure sending unit. Although there is oil on the starter, which is above the pan gasket. I figured that was probably from driving though. I was going to change the pan gasket, but my manual says to drop the whole front diff. I was wondering if there is anyone out there who might have had the same problem that could possibly give me some tips. Thanks

Alright, best bet is to clean the entire area. Then turn it on and just wait.
To be honest, dropping the diff is not hard at all. I did when i did my timing chain, and wow. It was worth it, you pick up some much plastic chunks/pieces from the old timing chain guide. Also if you re-do the oil pan, dont use the gasket. From what ive read that they are way more prone to leaking. Use toyota FIPG, amazing stuff.

I did that once already, but the whole area is just so covered in oil, its hard to get it all off. And if you dont have it all off, you obviously cant see where its coming from. But I guess its something to do, so ill try it again.
