The truck starts and runs fine when cold, but when the motor is already warmed up and the truck was shut off for more than a minute (and up to an hour or so I guess) the thing cranks longer than usual and runs rough till I rev it a few times. Then it runs fine.

Are there any common problems on these that cause this issue? I haven't begun diagnostics yet, I'm just thinking through the problem first.

It's got about 5,000 miles since the last tune-up (plugs, wires, cap, rotor, air filter), and this problem only just recently started. I haven't worked on anything else in the engine bay recently that could have caused a problem.

My 3vze does this too, also smells of gas decently strongly when started hot. Sometimes the idle drops so low the engine starts to stall, but once revved it runs fine after. Hopefully someone knows how to clear it up
Mine only started this after correcting a bunch of vacuum lines that were put in the wrong place by the previous owner, i was thinking it maybe has to do with the FPU system.

well I know literally nothing about that engine but the smell of gas makes me think o2 sensor since that's the smell my 4runner makes and has a bad o2 sensor but like I said I know more about brain surgery than that engine.
