Mudlover

When I bought my 88 runner, the speedo and fuel gauge did not work, but everything else did, tach, temp, etc. So I got another cluster and replaced it.
Now the nothing works. I made sure when I bought the new cluster it was the same year and model that was already installed. I also checked all the fuses before I pull the cluster and after to make sure nothing was blown and had each had a good contact. I am at a loss. Can anyone shed some light on what I could try next? Anyone else have this problem?

Never had a problem like that.... my only guess is there might be something different between the clusters.. i.e gauges verus idiot lights, tach versus no tach, or maybe 4cyl versus 6cyl... hopefully someone that knows more can help. hope you get it figured out!
